WheelTheDeal.com ("WheelTheDeal," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by A & M. We provide a free, independent car deal analysis tool at wheelthedeal.com. Contact us at hello@wheelthedeal.com.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect only what you voluntarily provide and basic usage signals:

Car and deal inputs: Year, make, model, ZIP code, dealer offer, and other deal details you enter to generate a report. This information is processed in real time and is not stored long-term on our servers.
Optional email address: If you choose to submit your email (for lease calculator notifications or feedback), we store it solely to send you the update you requested.
Feedback submissions: If you submit feedback through our form, we receive your rating, message, and optional email. This is used only to improve the product.
Basic analytics: We may log anonymized usage signals (e.g., which brands are searched, whether a report was generated) to understand how the tool is used. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.

3. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with automobile dealers, dealer groups, or any third-party marketplaces. We do not display dealer-funded advertising or sponsored placements. We are not paid by dealers in any form.

4. How We Use Your Information

To generate and display your car deal analysis.

To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the tool.

5. Third-Party Services

WheelTheDeal uses the following third-party services to operate:

Railway (railway.app): Hosting provider. Your requests are processed on their servers.
fueleconomy.gov (US Dept of Energy): Public API used for vehicle fuel economy data.
NHTSA (nhtsa.gov): Public API used for recall and safety data.
Formspree (formspree.io): Used to receive feedback form submissions.
Google Fonts: Used to serve the Inter typeface for display.

We use only public or minimally privacy-invasive services. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, or similar advertising trackers.

6. Cookies and Tracking

WheelTheDeal does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We may use minimal session data to maintain the state of your current session (e.g., your selected vehicle). This data is not used for tracking or advertising.

7. Data Retention

Car deal inputs you enter are not stored on our servers beyond the duration of your session. Optional emails submitted for notifications are retained until you request removal. Feedback submissions are retained for product improvement purposes.

8. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@wheelthedeal.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

WheelTheDeal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of WheelTheDeal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
